1.) Family or staff of foreign representatives: Family or staff members of a foreign representative to Canada don’t need a study permit. They should contact their embassy for more details.
2.) Minor children don’t need a study permit if they’re in kindergarten. They can study in Canada in a pre-school, primary, or secondary school if they came to Canada with their parent who has either a study or work permit.
