Eligible occupations to apply for PR under Express Entry

Not all the jobs would make you eligible to apply for Permanent Residency (PR) in Canada under the express entry immigration program. All the jobs in Canada are listed in a NOC Matrix which is sub-divided into 5 NOC Skill levels as NOC 0, A, B, C, and D.

Only the high-skilled jobs that are listed in NOC 0, A, and B (there are currently approx 340 NOC codes) are eligible under express entry to apply for permanent residency (PR) in Canada if the applicant meets the minimum eligibility criteria under FSW, CEC, or FST. The full-time work experience required to qualify for PR under Express entry is a minimum of 1 year which can either be in Canada (CEC) or in any other country also (mainly FSW).
